ROADRUNNER was hustled into command soon after the start, was headed between calls the final furlong and just got up. WAR DAUBER, reserved the opening stages, went up rapidly on the outside to challenge, took command between calls the final furlong and hung CROSSLOCK closed resolutely after a slow beginning. BUNKER saved ground and had no mishap. GREAT FUN took up when blocked most of the way on the final turn and failed to respond when clear for the drive SUMMER DUCK tired, as did THE SLIP. BOLD KING showed a poor effort. Attendance, 5,539; Total Mutuel Pool, 45,749.
