Johnny. Podres Hurls Dodgers To 4-0 Victory Oyer Redlegs BROOKLYN, N. Y., June 7 UP.— Southpaw Johnny Podres pitched his first complete game in more than three weeks today when he shut ou the Cincinnati Red-legs on five hits to give the league-leading Dodgers a 4-0 victory. Podres gave up singles in the second, third and eighth innings, and doubles in the sixth and ninth as he recorded his sixth victory to best former Dodger Bud Pod-bielan. It was Podres first shutout of the season and gave the Brooklyn club a 22-5 record at Ebbets Field this year and a 9-2 mark on the current home stand. After 12 games, the Dodger home run streak came to an end. The league leaders, who have hit 79, had hit at least one or more homers in each of their last 12 games.
