S. S. HOLMES PASSES AWAY Stanley S. Holmes, formerly of this city, passed away in Maplewood, N. J., on Monday. Holmes was vice-president of the Western Electric Company, and at one time was president of the village of Riverside. He left Chicago in 1927 to become manager of the Kearney, N. J., plant.
