RESTORE PRE-DEPRESSION PAY WASHINGTON, D. C, April 2 Government employes have had their salaries restored to their pre-depression level, which it is estimated will add 5,000,000 to the federal payroll. At the same time the Civil Service Commission announced that 680,516 workers were employed in the executive departments, this figure being the largest since the war.
