ROMAN SOLDIER FAVORITE Shift in Weight Makes Sachsen-maier Racer Derby Choice Over E. R. Bradleys Black Helen. ARLINGTON, Texas, April 2. Despite the fact that Col. E. R. Bradleys Black Helen won the Florida Derby, the three-year-old daughter of Black Toney La Troinne does not occupy the favored position for trie 5,-000! -added Texas Derby, which will be run over one and one-eighth miles Saturday, April 20, at Arlington Downs. In the number of consecutive victories, Whizzaway has the rest of the field outclassed, with seven straight to his credit He set two track records in amassing hid impressive string of victories, whirling three-quarters in 1:12, and a mile and seventy yards in 1:42. Furfiber, winner of five straight on Florida tracks, showed what he could do to many of the Texas Derby field in a run over one mile Saturday, defeating five of his rivals in the rich event.
