1 BOWIE TURF NOTES Frank Christmas, of Upper Marlboro, who holds the contract on the clever apprentice, F. Faust, says he has several flattering offers for the Washington youngster. Faust is a recent arrival from Hot Springs, Ark. Paul Ratti arrived from Florida. He was accompanied by trainer Tod Myers and jockey S. Bagur. The latter is being handled by Freddie Kreiger of Baltimore. Eddie Danehauer has taken over the book of Sammy Renick, who is under contract to A. G. Vanderbilt. Walter E. OHara, owner of Narragansett Park, Rhode Island, who races under the nom de course of the Araho Stable, came on from Providence to see Aladdins Dream perform. He was accompanied by Mrs. OHara, and plans to remain the rest of the week. William Doyle, patrol judge at Havre de Grace, is here accepting nominations for the trio of ,500 stakes to be run at the Harford County track. The Havre de Grace stakes close April 4. H. L. Campbell was an arrival from Florida with nine horse, including Chain, Boo-cap, Midshipman and Flying Dere. Trainer Frank Kearns fired the two-year-olds Alfred C. M. and Jack M. and shipped them back to New York. Pari-mutuel manager Mort Mahoney had fifteen "Daily Double" sellers in the main line, and five in the clubhouse. The apprentice allowance was waived on Gifted Lady in the second race, and she carried 105 pounds. John Davis, an arrival from Florida, stated he will make the riding engagements for Johnny Gilbert during the Havre de Grace twelve-day meeting, which opens April 15. The Tropical Park, Florida, stewards wired that jockey J. Lynch will be allowed to accept mounts on April 9. Richard Dickman of Baltimore who helped Maurice Peters to become Americas leading winning rider last year, will handle, J. Bryson during the Havre de Grace meeting. Bryson is under contract to Emmet Potts of Baltimore, who trains the Bbmar Stables horses.
