KINGS PLATE NOMINATIONS Forty-One, Including Best of Canadian-Bred Juveniles of Last Year, Named for Fixture. TORONTO, Ont., April 2 Interest in local racing affairs is given impetus with the release of entries for the Kings Plate, Canadas grand, old turf fixture, which will have its seventy-sixth running at Woodbine Park on Saturday, May 18, opening day of the Ontario Jockey Clubs spring meeting. The entry list boasted of just one less than entered in last years renewal, there being forty-one, but the important thing is that all the leading juvenile racers of last years Canadian-bred crop are found on the list. First and most important of the nominations, of course is the Parkwood Stables Listaro, unbeaten three-year-old bay gelded son of The Romp II. Listen Dearie, by Trojan which raced three times last season and amassed winnings of ,370. Mrs. Charles Robson, of Oshawa, holds a strong hand with her entry of Vingt Cinq and Epicurus.
