t RIVER DOWNS TURF NOTES I The stewards issued the following ruling Monday: "For sharp riding practices in the face of several warnings, jockey Willie Garner has been suspended for the remainder of the meeting." M. P. Lyons rceived the two-year-old Mat-tie Lou from the farm. Henderson Van Zandt visited with Mr. and Mrs. M. Johr, at Lexington during the weekend. He supervised the loading of the year lings Johr purchased at the Lexington auctions. They were shipped to Alamo Downs where they will be broken and prepared for racing. Jockey James Cowley arrived from Lexington a:.d will be in colors Tuesday. Trainer H. Hoffman returned the three horses he took to Keeneland for J. b Respess. Charles Granneman has been engaged to train the two-year-old Beautiful Bud for J. Sauter. Apprentice E. Ramsey checked in from Lexington and plans to don silks Tuesday.
