WM. CLARK FATALLY INJURED ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct 26. William Clark, groom, said to have been employed by O. C. Averitt, suffered fatal injuries when struck by an automobile on the Dallas-Ft Worth highway just outside of Arlington Downs here today. Better known to horsemen and stable attaches as "Sheepherder Bill," Clark had worked for a number- of prominent trainers, including Owen Pons and Raymond Pollard. His home was in Montana.
