T. J. CARROLL SIGNS AS ASSISTANT TOLL FITZGERALD ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct 26. T. J. Carroll will leave tomorrow for California, where he will be employed as assistant to trainer E. L. Fitzgerald of the Norman W. Church stable. Fitzgerald has been in a hospital at San Jose since receiving multiple injuries when kicked by one of the Church horses at that patrons California farm some time ago. Some of the Church horses are racing at Tanforan with others in training at the t?1?1" ..Y1"1 Ca rro"s departure, George Fritz will become agent for Edward McCuan, who holds the contract on apprentice Warren Cornay, who headed the riders at Epsom Downs.
