QUICK RELIEF, beginning fast and racing into a long lead on the turn, tired badly after about five-eighths, but held ALBINO safe. The latter faltered repeatedly when under vigorous riding in the early stages, lost much ground in the final half mile as she raced with more confidence under a steadying hold and was rapidly overtaking the leader. The latter, raced wide and never far back, raced to the lead gradually, but gave way suddenly in the final sixteenth. OSWEGO PRINCESS, well up from the start, but in close quarters on the far turn, failed to rally in the drive and tired in the late stages, but was vastly best of the others. The latter, away fast but unable to hold the advantage, failed to rally until in the final quarter, where coming with a rush on the extreme outside, he closed much ground and just failed to get up. DANGER POINT, probably best and away poorly, was far out of if, then came with fine speed and was stroncest of all in the closing stages. DOLAWAY tired. WHICHAWAY bettered his position slowly after reaching the final half mile, challenged gamely when placed to pressure in the stretch, but faltered in the late stages, yet outstayed MOKENA. The latter, badly outrun early and raced in the middle of the track throughout, moved to the leaders gradually, but hung in the drive. GOLDEN KNIGHT had no mishaps. PAYNE showed speed under energetic riding, but dropped back steadily the last three-eighths. FAIR CYNTHIA showed little.
