CHEER STAR, steadied along when outrun, responded well after reaching the stretch, was sent to the outside of the leaders during the final eighth and got up in the last stride. JACK CONNER, a strong factor from the start, was on the inside in the drive and finished strongly. LUCKY COLOR improved his position rapidly after a quarter, moved to the front in the stretch, but hung in the last stages. WANDA GABLE sprinted into a good lead during the opening quarter, was put to strong urging when challenged, but tired during the final eighth. WISE MONEY raced wide and showed little. BLAZE DOR. slow to begin and far back for a quarter, improved her position rapidly thereafter, responded to strong urdng in the drive and got up in the final stride. SHARP THOUGHTS, hustled along from the start, drew clear after disposing of SEQUOIA, was put to strong urging when tiring and just failed to last. CATCH FLY moved up fast on the stretch turn and finished strongly. THORNBY, chief cause of the post delay, ran in spots. SEQUOIA was done after a half mile. LADY OFFICER made up ground in the drive. KING BEE dropped back after improving his position. PRAIRIE BELL quit. WAR SAINT had early speed. FREE FORESTER was done after a quarter. Cverwoisht — Lady Officer, 5 pounds. Won easily; second and third driving. COULEEDAM, well handled and steadied sdong for three quarters, responded in fine style after reaching the stretch, took command when ready, and won easily. SAPAROO, under steadying restraint for five-eighths, responded well when called upon, established a good lead after disposing of BILLY MOLE, but was unable to withstand the winner. GYRAL. outrun for three quarters, moved up rapidly in the drive and finished well. CHAI.PHONE raced wide and held on well. MISS BONNIE was outrun. BILLY MOLE was done after five eighths. MORRIS GRINER, far back for a half mile, closed with a rush. BREAD KING, a strong factor from the start, tired durinc the final eighth. FLYING ORPHAN raced wide on the stretch turn and tired. POLLY HASTINGS sprinted into a good early lead, was steadied along to the drive, hut tired rapidly durine the final eighth. FLOSILDA made up eround in the drive. WISE KING was done after a half mile.
