MARGARET NADI, a sharp factor from the start, took command on the turn under light urging, responded to pressure in the drive and, though bearing out, outgamed WILLOW WAND. The latter, well up from the beginning was under light restraint to the final quarter, was carried out by the winner in the drive and could not get up. DIXIE DORA, away fast but unable to keep up, was badly outrun to the last quarter and finished fastest of all. WHIP SNAKE saved ground throughout and finished gamely under pressure. GTO. away well, took command after a ouarter without need of strong pressure, was roused after straightening out in the stretch and held KERRYLITE safe. The latter, outrun for three eighths, saved ground entering the stretch and closed gamely, but could not menace the winner. DOMINANT DARBY, never far back and in hand to the last quarter, held on well in the drive. LITTLE HIG, fractious at the post and placed outside the stalls for the start, broke slowly, raced wide and closed well. TERMISON gave way suddenlv after showing early speed. PETER F. raced wide. ROUNDHEEL followed the pace under strong restraint for about three quarters, took command with a rush thereafter and, drawing out, won easily. ABDICATOR, also well up and in hand to the second turn, responded to urging thereafter and, thoueh unable to menace the winner, was best of the others. THE TRIBESMAN, outrun for three quarters, saved ground entering the stretch and closed gamely. TUT TUT saved ground throughout and had no mishaps. TAXIMAN raced wide. DOLLY VAL, a sharp factor from the start, took command after a quarter without need of strong pressure, was hard ridden the last three-eighths and held on gamely to the last eighth, when she tired. COUNT VALIANT, badly outrun early, worked his way up after five-eighths and closed gamely. BIRTHDAY raced wide throughout and floundered badly in the going. TAXES, quick to take command, gave way to DOLLY VAL after a quarter and tired after five-eighths. ELOOTO was through after three-quarters. The others pL were outrun. THE MILLAY, well up early, dropped back after a quarter, came again under hustling tactics in the drive and closed stoutly. LITTLE DRIFT forced the pace under light restraint, was carried wide entering the stretch and held on gamely to the last sixteenth, then seemed to hang. TUNBRIDGE made the pace without need of strong urging, swung wide into the stretch and tired in the last eighth. HILSINGER was outrun throughout. Scratched— 58006 Boston Sound, 112.
