1 BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES t € * Jockey R. Workman reported improvement in the condition of his infant son, who is suffering from pneumonia at a Washington hospital. Warren Wright arrived from Chicago and will remain over the week-end. Robert Howard arrived from San Francisco and joined his father, C. S. Howard, ; here. A meeting will be held on Tuesday after the last race in the clubhouse by the trainers to discuss plans for the annual dinner at Saratoga Springs this season. John Miller, association timer, is on the ! ailing list. Clarence Buxton released jockey R. Howell from the contract that he held on that riders services. John B. Campbell reported that the coughing epidemic played havoc with his two-year-old races. In the past two days but twelve entries were made for four Juven- I ile events. Dan Jappet, well-known Texas sportsman, ] was among the arrivals. He will remain for ! a brief visit.
