Rumage cancelled his stall reservations, wiring he would be unable to race here this season. Instead of coming here, Jockey R. Conner decided to ride at Omaha, going to the | Nebraska city direct from Beulah Park. Zanny, Computer and Upholder, are due Saturday from River Downs, according to Owner H. D. King. King has four others here being conditioned by C. A. Baltimore. The daily double will be held on the first and second races each day. Among the jockeys here and passed upon by Steward J. J. Grady, who is representing the West Virginia Racing Commission, are A. Vesseli, F. Slate, J. Mills, H. Lauch, J. Carney, C. Mills, T. Atkinson, P. Driscoll, T. Fowler, T. Munoz, B. Marshio, F. Tice, R. Dean, H. Hearald, P. Castanova, J. Leyland and G. Quackenbush. Glenn McClelland wired he would be here Sunday with his stable from Beulah Park. Khar Fair, claimed by H. D. King at New I Orleans, which later broke down, is ready I for engagements and will be seen in action i here next week. Trainer L. Knaggs advised racing secre-I tary Wm. In addition to the two already here, A. V. Thomas is expected to reach here Tuesday with two others from Louisville. Jockey John Leyland, who rode with much success at Charles Town, was an arrival today. Obsession, a two-year-old which has never i started and Sis Blaze were unloaded this morning. They came here from Churchill Downs.
