AGAWAM TURF NOTES I ♦ - ® Word was received from George Phillips, trainer for the Maemere Farm that a division of that stable would be vanned from New York to Agawam for racing throughout the meeting. Those included in the shipment are Wrenace, Maeayres, Ferryboat, Mae-nomic, Lady Florida and Maestrung. Apprentice W. E. Snyder will accompany the consignment and do the stables riding. The horses that L. G. "Buster" Bedwell is training for various California patrons of the thoroughbred sport, arrived from the Golden Gate State Friday morning and went into quarters. A dense fog enveloped the Agawam course Saturday morning and many horses which were given- drills during this period could not be timed. The fog did not lift until after 9 oclock. G. A. Lang notified officials of the Agawam Racing and Breeders Association that he will send eight ceeplechasers from Rye, N. Y., early next week.
