WENT TO POST— 4:45. OFF AT ONCE. | Start eood and slow. Won driving ; third the same. MATURE, probably much the best, followed the early pacemaker under snug restraint for about three-quarters, was forced very wide entering the stretch, stood a drive gamely, while wearing down WAYALOFT and swerved near the end, but lasted to deadheat with MISINFORMATION. The latter, on the inside through. out and allowed to remain out of it in the early racing, closed resolutely under strong riding, but was lucky to get up to deadlock MATURE. WAYALOFT made the early pace in hand, went out badly on the stretch turn and gave way slowly in the drive. CROSS RUFF kept up under light urging, dropped back as if through when entering the stretch, but came again. ERUPTION began to improve his position after three-quarter* and was blocked near the end. Otherwise she might have been closer up. Overweight — Eruption, 3 pounds. Corrected weight— Old Deal, 110.
