GOV. CHANDLERS OWNERS AURORA, 111., May 28.— A new set of colors having been received in time, Gov. Chandler performed under the silks of J. Fred Miles and Howard Hawks in the Illinois Derby. Originally the horse was to run under the colors of Mrs. Kirby Ramsey for whom he raced at Louisville. The Reigh Count three-year-old was purchased from J. C. Metz by Mrs. Ramseys husband who acted as an agent for Miles and Hawks. Gov. Chandler is to be shipped to California after the Derby.
