SEABISCUIT NOT LAME NOW Howard Horse Certain Starter in 0,000 Massachusetts Handicap, According to a Turf Official. EAST BOSTON, Mass., May 28.— Sea-biscuit, Charles S. Howards great campaigner and leading money winner, will definitely be among the starters in the Massa-chusettss Handicap, June 29, according to word received this morning from a leading turf official in New York who had just concluded a conversation with Howard. This official reports Seabiscuit is not now lame and will be in perfect condition for the biggest event of the Summer racing season here. According to this official, Seabiscuit has never been badly out of condition. "The horse merely went choppy because of the top dressing," he said, "and should be in good condition for Suffolk Downs." The entire Howard stable will be shipped from Belmont Park at the close of the meeting there, June 4, and will come direct to Suffolk Downs. Others of the Howard horses are heavily engaged at Suffolk Downs in stakes.
