j ! ; | ; i DAUBER WANTED IN 0,000 I HOLLYWOOD RACE NEW YORK, N. Y., May 30.-Richard E. Handlen, trainer of the Foxcatcher Farms stable, maintained by Wm. du Pont, Jr , stated at Belmont Park that an invitation had been received from the Hollywood Turf Club for Dauber to participate in a 0,000 special to be run during the inaugural meeting of the new track at Inglewood, Calif. Handlen said that no definite decision had been reached regarding the proposal, but that it was being given every consideration. According to the Foxcatcher trainer, the Preakness winner would be asked to meet Lawrin, which beat the son of Pennant a length in the Kentucky Derby, and several other three-year-olds. Myro Selznicks Cant Wait, which was third in the Derby, also has been invited for the special event, but trainer J. T. Taylor said it was doubtful if his charge could take part in the race. The new track already has scheduled the 0,000 Hollywood Gold Cup and a 5 000 race for three-year-olds.
