NANDI had speed from the start, was steadied along back of the speedy REBECCA LEE to the stretch, moved up with a rush when the latter faltered, took command and drew clear in the final sixteenth. REBECCA LEE sprinted into a good early lead, then faltered all through the final three sixteenths. HI-PEGG, saving ground from the start, closed willingly to outfinish GIFT O GAB. The latter, well placed throughout, had no mishaps. CARELESS KNIGHT, on the outside throughout, went evenly. OUR HOBBY made up ground. BYE BYE MARY broke in motion, swunc sidewavs and dropped back, then made up ground. IN FRONT faltered. REE had brief speed. BERNARDINE W. followed in close attendance of the pace and, saving ground throughout drove through on the inside entering the stretch, shook off PENABUD and drew out in the final eighth. PENABCD raced DIXIE PRINCESS into defeat in the first half mile, closed gamely but was no match for the winner in the final eighth. DIXIE PRINCESS forced the pace the first three-eighths, then faltered GOVERNOR BILL, away slowly, closed with good speed. DEARZIN made up ground. ARABIAN MYTH displayed speed for three eighths. NORSWEEP had speed from the start, was hustled into the lead at once, was steadied along in the lead the first three-eighths, ducked out sharply at the three-sixteenths post and again at the eighth post then came again and outfinished WORTHY TIP. The latter saved ground from the start, was hustled to the lead in the final eighth when the leaders bore out and just failed to last. DIST GAL forced the pace from the start, was taken in hand when the leader bore out, then faltered. TOFRISIA tired badly after displaying good early speed. GOLD PLATE was outrun. DONOSIRIS was hustled through to the lead in the first eighth, shook off SUFFERN leaving the back stretch, drew clear rounding the turn and continued to widen its margin to the finish to win with speed in reserve. WORTHY DUKE, on the outside throughout, came gamely through the final quarter, but was unable to threaten the winner. SCFFERN forced the pace to the stretch, then closed gamely in a good effort. LEO D., well placed throughout, had no mishaps. SPRING MOON raced evenly. SKYROS broke fast, then dropped back and came again in the final quarter mile. THIRTY BELOW tired badly. The latter steadily improved his position on the outside the first three quarters closed with a rush through the final eighth and outfinished RED TREE. The latter closed with good speed between horses in the final eighth. CENTENNIAL forced the pace, made a bold bid to reach the lead entering the final eighth, then faltered badly.
