DONNA BARONA ASCOT WINNER Akron, Ohio, May 30. — Packing and jamming every inch of the spacious stand and lawn, a crowd which numbered above the : 12,000 mark, crowded into beautiful Ascot i Park here at Akron this afternoon to wit-i ness the Memorial Day card. Clear, cool j skies greeted the fans, while a chilly wind I swept throughout the stands all afternoon. ! Donna Barona, black seven-year-old daugh-I ter of Don Diego — Baronina, again carried I the white and blue silks of Mrs. D. Hoffman to an easy victory in the Mayflower Hotel Purse, feature event on the card.
