I HAVRE DE GRACE N0TESt 4 Former jockey Johnny Loftus has six two-year-olds and four older horses that he is readying for racing at Pimlico. The horses are from the combined stables of J. H. Louchheim, Henry Horkheimer and Three Cousins Farm. Goss L. Stryker, newly appointed president of the Laurel State Fair, Inc., was a visitor at Havre de Grace Friday. Frank Capra is making the riding engagements of apprentice R. Bateman. Edna Allen purchased the three-year-old filly Nanahcub from F. J. Buchanan for terms that were private. The three-year-old daughter of Blenheim performed in the colors of her new owner in the sixth race on Thursday. Horsemen planning to race during the thirty-day meeting at Delaware Park are requested to make out their stall application blanks immediately. Blanks are available in the racing secretarys office here. R. B. Archer has been appointed trainer to handle the horses of E. Hackney. George Phillips, trainer of the Maemere Farm stable, is due here with the juvenile Maetran, an eligible for the Aberdeen Stakes to be run Wednesday, April 26. Two members of the ground crew employed by starter James M. Milton are at Pimlico each morning conducting schooling classes for horses stabled at the Maryland Jockey Club grounds. Hours are from 7 to 9:30 a. m. G. E. Littlefield will ship the useful sprinter Timber Lady and three others of his stable to Charles Town, W. Va., at a later date. H. J. Bundscho is pointing Teddy Weed, winner of the 510,000 added Tropical Handicap for the Philadelphia Handicap, to be decided here on the closing day of the meeting. Nate Gladstone is handling the engagement book of apprentice J. Gonzales, under contract to the King Ranch. Gortzales was born on King Ranch and aided in breaking Ciencia, winner of the Santa Anita Derby, as a yearling.
