ROOSEVELT VISITS SON WASHINGTON, D. C, April 21. President Roosevelt turned away from the tense international situation and other affairs of state today to motor 130 miles down the Shenandoah Valley to Charlottesville, Va., for an overnight visit with his third son, Franklin, Jr. According to advance plans, the President will remain over night at the Charlottesville home of his son and daughter-in-law, the former Ethel duPont. He was looking forward to seeing his infant grandson, Franklin III.
