ANGELS TAKE 18TH IN ROW LOS ANGELES, Calif, April 21. The Los Angeles Angels scored their eighteenth straight victory yesterday when they turned back the San Diego Padres, 9-5, in a Pacific Coast League game. Jim "Ripper" Collins, former Cubs first baseman, batted out his seventh home run of the season with two on base in the third inning.
