KAYAK II. MAY COME EAST SAN BRUNO, Crif., April 21 Kayak Santa Anita Handicap winner, made a public appearance at Tanforan between races Thursday and breezed a half mile. With jockey Ralph Neves in the saddle, he was broken off at the half-mile post and raced to the stand under wraps in :48. Owner Charles Howard and Trainer Tom Smith were on the track to view the work. Kayak H.s next engagement may be in the Bay Meadows Handicap, following which he will be shipped East to compete in the Metropolitan Handicap and other stakes.
