ARIZONA KID moved up fast on the inside after going a quarter and, finding an opening on the inside in the stretch, wore down BORN BLACK and won narrowly. The latter showed the most early speed and barely missed. HOLLOFOL was slow to get going, but finished gamely. EASTER PARADE challenged gamely on the far turn, but, carried wide on the stretch turn and in close quarters in the stretch, could not get up. FEllAXE tired. CHARLES ADEE and EASTER JANE tired. PEP TALK took a good early lead, raced well when challenged and was beaten but narrowly. ACCORDION moved up steadily in the drive.
