JOCKEY WELLS NEW EMPLOYER LEXINGTON, Ky., April 21. The contract Calumet Farm held on 17-year-old Charles Wells, of Lexington, was purchased today by F. H. Williamson, who owns the Indian Lake Stable. Wells, who weighs ninety pounds, rode in several races last summer on Chicago tracks, but failed to ride a winner. The paper on the young prospect has three years to run and trainer Ralph Mc-Ilvain stated Wells will get plenty of work during the Churchill Downs meeting.
