KEENELAND TURF NOTES Apprentice J. Flinchum left Friday for Beulah Park. R. Wingfield transferred two of the six horses he has here to Beulah Park. Apprentice Euclid Le Blanc left Thursday night for Narragansett Park. The young rider is to report to Jack Whyte, who has leased the boys contract for the summer. Trainer Otto Bagley repeated the four-year-old Madelyn F. died Thursday night at the trotting track. The daughter of Pom-pey Virago contracted shipping fever en route from Hot Springs. Madelyn F. was the property of the Blue Ridge Farm, maintained by William OToole of Chicago. Lavelle "Buddy" Ensor was granted a license and the veteran, who made a successful cameback in Florida, is expected to accept his first mount of the meeting Saturday. Albert Mott has taken over his book for the balance of the meeting. H. H. Temple, Jr., local trainer, has taken over Jay S., Miss Horlight and Lac-Ha-Caro-lyn to train for E. A. Leary. The eight horses F. T. Waring has for Gould Shaw and D. H. Silberberg will be transferred to Louisville after this meeting. The four head George Brooks had here for the Shady Brook Farm, which included the goo"d four-year-old Timeful, were sent to Churchill Downs Friday. After spending two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hoffman, Mrs. Henrietta Smith left for her home in Hot Springs. Hoffman trains the Woodvale Farm stable of Royce Martin, Toledo, Ohio, sportsman. Jim John, seven-year-old son of Pennant, the property of A. Leiderman, in charge of Otto Bagley, took sick Thursday and is said to be in a dangerous condition. J. J. Sirl has taken over the four-year-old Gold Color to train for W. L. Dowling. Wise Barrister, Lillian Roth, Sympathizer and iWtan were transferred from the trotting track to Keeneland Friday by Otto Bag-ley. Five others are in quarters at the trotting track.
