1 JAMAICA TURF NOTES o Fifty-five jockeys were issued badges at Thursday mornings meeting, according to Al Berlin, clerk of the scales. Stake books for the Belmont Park meeting arrived and were distributed among horsemen Thursday afternoon. Paul Fox reported that he had sold his Alanfox, winner of one race at Saratoga last summer, to M. Gold. The horse is at Aqueduct Walter Cox, of trotting horse fame, was an arrival, his first appearance of the season. The clubhouse contingent is worried about the nonappearance of Alec Gordon. The Kentucky Scot is supposed to have left Lexington last Saturday for Jamaica, but has not shown up. J. S. Healey has taken Melissa, Knight Gallant, Paddy and Abbatoro to train for B. Lewin, in addition to No Lip, Ted "All, Hawatorich arid Filandro, which perform in his own colors.
