TRAINING STRINGS AT LATONIA LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 21. J. B. Res-pess, Erlanger, Ky., owner and breeder, who commutes between his home and Churchill Downs, where he has a stable of horses, reports a number of Kentucky regulars are training their strings at Latonia. Among those who have thoroughbreds at the Covington plant are Al Newman, Jim Lally and William Steuve. Respess says the Latonia racing strip is in good condition and that horses there are doing well.
