JACOPET, allowed to settle into his best stride while outrun early, moved readily when roused, circled the leaders to assume command entering the stretch and drew out under pressure. KEIWELL raced ARIEL ACTRESS into submission after six furlongs, was kept on the inside while saving ground and held on gamely through the stretch. FUGLERS rallied mildly to finish with good energy. TELBEDA flattened out after a mild challenge on the final turn. MONIFIETH showed nothing. ARIEL ACTRESS was used up forcing the pace. SVENGALI was outrun Scratched— 71333 Landn Sea, 111; 72820 Tillerette, 112. Overweight— Monifieth, 1 pound. Attendance, 26,144; Total Mutuel Pool, ,198,017.
