Illinois Notes SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 9. Mr. and Mrs. Ethan R. Moulder arrived here today by plane from their home in Tulsa, Okla., to attend the remaining programs of the meeting here. The Moulders own a modest string of thoroughbreds quartered here in charge of Dave Sodders. Trainer Marion Barton announced he is shipping the horses he has here for P. L. Grissom to Detroit Fair Grounds. The string here includes Master Bid, Park Pigeon and Fertile Lands. Some of the De-troiters horses are now in training at the Motor City track and another unit is encamped at Churchill Downs in Louisville. When the stable is assembled Grissom s red and white silks will be represented by 25 thoroughbreds. Trainer Eual Wyatt is planning to remain on the Chicago circuit and will transfer the 15 head he has here for various patrons to Washington Park for the Lincoln Fields meeting of 30 days. Wyatt has returned to this area after a long absence. He introduced the popular rider Johnny Adams to their Chicago fans when the latter was an apprentice. P. J. Clements reported he has turned over Leonidas, Pet Face and Miss Winifred to E. T. Toler to condition for the balance of the meeting. Toler succeeds J. E. Poel-lien at the post. A half-dozen racers owned by various patrons were brought here from Churchill Downs by Dave Womeldorff and stabled at Washington Park The shipment was comprised of Dream Life, My Alley, In Abeyance, Miss Priss, Outstanding and Night Flyer. Five horses, owned in partnership by A. May cock and R. R. Roberts, are slated to depart from there next week for the Detroit Fair Grounds. The shipment will be made up of Audo, Flying Doug, Drum Fire, Glowing Ember and First Bourne. W. T. Beezley is leaving here next week for Ak-Sar-Ben at Omaha, Neb., with the horses he owns and trains for himself. Listed by Beezley to perform at the Omaha track are Bentbrook, Dog Day, Happy Pilot, Miss Montsin, Sunstorm, Rodeo Rose, Best Buttons, Sacaton and Heesadate.
