REDGIE moved up boldly to assume the lead in the stretch, but was unable to hold the winner. WAYGOOD GIRL was prominent throughout, but lacked a finishing drive. GOAT HEAD saved ground to reach contention, but did not menace the leaders. BARRANI FIRE was never a factor. TEMERU showed nothing. APRA had early speed. DUNDE was through early.
