OKeeffe Going to Blue Bonnets After Close of Cranwood Park CRANWOOD PARK, Cleveland, Ohio, June 25. — Following the close of the current Cranwood meeting, director of public relations John OKeefe will take off for Montreal where he will serve as presiding steward for the Quebec Queens Plate meeting. This will be the centennial running of the Blue Bonnets turf classic. Canadian-bred three-year-olds will contest for the ,000 purse as well as the honor of winning North Americas oldest stakes during a Coronation year. A large percentage of the tourists from this country who visit Montreal each summer have been making Blue Bonnets one of-the stops on their itinerary according to word from that track. Many of them are expected to witness the colorful ceremonies attendant upon the Queens Plate. The Canadian race will be decided on Saturday, July 25.
