SHAKES IMAGE saved ground from the* start, took command when MISS DONELLA bore odt and drew clear, winning with something left. HOSTILE MISS lacked early foot, but finished fairly well in the middle of the track. SCALE could not overtake HOSTILE MISS when set down through the stretch. LOVE BUG began fast, but steadily lost ground after the start. MISS DONELLA took an early lead, set the pace to the last quarter mile, then bore out badly, losing all chance. LAST HALF was outrun. BEST DOINGS, a sharp factor from the start, was sent to the outside for the stretch run and, responding to urging, disposed of HEART FLASH and held FREE LUNCH safe. FREE LUNCH raced evenly for a half mile, then closed strongly in the middle of the track, but could not overtake the winner. HEART FLASH, forwardly placed from the start, entered the stretch with a clear lead, hut faltered when challenged by BEST DOINGS. RIDGE. RUNNER raced evenly in a sharp effort LOVELY DEVIL raced wide through the stretch. SWORDS TOWN had early speed, but failed to stay. WHAMMO lacked racing room during the drive. SEGURO, in close quarters at the upper turn, failed to recover. MEMAW was outrun. HUMPHREY had brief speed, then gave way. STRIKE showed nothing. Seguro claimed by T. Ferrara. HERA LOT went to the front early, set the until inside the stretch but faltered when challenged by BOLO BOY. KING CARE gave a good effort and face ad no mishap. TEDDYS HEIR was outrun.
