Three Triple Turf Classic Hopefuls at Delaware Park DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 24. — Three likely candidates for Atlantic Citys new "triple turf classic" — Mrs. Esther duPont Weirs Royal Vale and Royal Governor and Joseph T. Donohues Stella Au-rata — are currently campaigning here. Milton Feldman, of the resort course publicity department, who has been contacting horsemen here relative to the Atlantic City stakes schedule, reports representatives of the aforementioned stables plan to make .their horses eligible for the infield races which carry a total value of 00,000 added money. Pwoyal Vale, winner of five stakes this year, shapes up as one of the stronger prospects for the 5,000 added Foreign Bred Stakes, and Royal Governor, hero of the 1951 running of the Stars and Stripes Handicap over the turf, has been training steadily since coming out of retirement and is regarded as a possible starter in the 5,000 added American Bred Stakes. Stella Aurata, a winner in Ireland over grass courses, has not been tried in grass races since arriving in the United States last summer. Nominations for the three events, climaxed by the 0,000 added United Nations Handicap, close August 3.
