ALAIRNE broke alertly, was taken back off the pace and steadied along the inside for five furlongs, eased to ihe outside near the far turn, responded when set down, raced very .wide into the stretch, assumed command and drew out under pressure. GOLDSBORO, never far off the pace and saving ground, rallied when put to a drive and finished with good energy. SHES GOT IT gained the early lead; gave way before a half mile, regained command when put to a drive and weakened. 1 LUCKY DOG had no mishap. REEDY CREEK went evenly. GOOD BOY rushed up on the inside to take command after a half mile and drew clear, held sway to the stretch and flattened out. FIRST NIGHTER moved up gradually down the backstretch, passed horses on the far turn, came to the inside for the drive and outfinished KING TAOS. The latter improved his position gradually to reach the leader on the final turn, rallied under a drive but was not good enough. BASSINGTON established the pace until late stretch before weakening. GOTTADANCE raced close to the leaders and had no mishap. DONNADOON nearly went through the brush on the first turn, dropped back and failed to recover in time to threaten. B0L0 LASS weakened. ALBANY FAIR was hit at the first turn, skidded to the outside and was not persevered with -thereafter. STAUNCH FLAG pulled up Very bad after the race.
