Stewards Rulings | FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsvllle, I 111., June 24. — The following: rulings were issued by the stewards here yesterday : "Jockey Leo I. Jones is fined 5.00 for using: obscene language in the Jockeys room after the running of the fifth race Saturday night, June 20." Jockey Raymond Camp is fined 5.00 for using obscene language in the jockeys room after the running of the fifth race Saturday night, June 20." "Jockey Elvin Hust is fined 0.00 for failing to fulfill his riding engagement on the horse, Stoneys Tiger, in the third race Saturday night, June 20." "Jockey agent Clayton A. Locy is suspended for the balance of the Fair-mount Park meeting for conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing and his case has been referred to the Illinois Racing Board for any further action they deem necessary*" "Apprentice jockey Kenneth Griffith is suspended for the balance of .the Fairmount Park meeting for interfering with the horse, Native Play, soon after the start of the fourth race Saturday night, June 20." RUIDOSO DOWNS, Ruidoso, N. M., June 24. — The Ruidoso Racing Association stewards issued the following rulings: * Jockey VV. Sherlock is Hereby tmed the sum of 5.00 for failure to properly control his mount, Scramby Amby, in the eighth race on June 20, 1953." "Jockey B. Southern is hereby fined the sum of 5.00 for failure to properly control his mount, Say Boy, in the eighth race on June 20, 1953." "Jockey D. Lujan is hereby fined the sum of 5v00 for not giving racing room to Magnetic Star while astride Orphans La tor, in the ninth race on June 20, 1953," "Jockey B. Dugdale is hereby fined the sum of 5.00 for failing to properly control his mount No. -1, Veiled Diamond, thereby carrying Frosty Sue exceptionally wide when entering the stretch in the tenth race on June 20, 1953." "Jockey T. Seeley is hereby fined the sum of 5.00 for cutting across too sharply in front of horses while astride Bogolmus in the tenth race on June 20, 1953." "Jockey W. Joe is hereby fined the sum of 5.00 for not having proper control of his mount, The Banker, out of the gate in the first race on June 20, -1953." "Jockey Robert Kennedy is hereby fined the sum of 5 for not keeping his .mount, No Savvy, straight out of the gate in the fifth race on June 20, 1953." "Jockey J. Vinson is hereby fined the sum of 5.00 for not giving Barre Victory racing room while astride Little Malie in the sixth race on June 20, 1953." "Owner-trainer Harold Render is_ hereby fined the sum of 0.00 for disorderly conduct in the stable area. "Owner-trainer Leola McPherson is hereby fined the sum of 5.00 for being late to the paddock for the eighth race on June 20, 1953, with her horse, Chico-lite." WOODBINE PARK, Toronto, Ont., June 24. — By order of the stewards, the following ruling was posted: "Trainer J. C. Meyer is fined 5 for being late-jn the paddock with his horse for the first race on Tuesday, June 23rd." SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 24. — By order of the stewards here, groom Nicholas Vincent Morgia is suspended the remainder of this meeting and his case is referred to the Massachusetts State Racing Commission, with the recommendation that he be denied the privileges of all Massachusetts race tracks, for conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing." DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 24. — The board of stewards issued the following ruling: "For rough riding in the fourth and eighth races, June 23, apprentice Thomas ONeil is suspended 10 days, June 26 to July 7, inclusive." FAIRGO, Cumberland Md., June 24. — The stewards issued the following ruling here this afternoon: "Jockey F. Young is suspended ten 10 days, Thursday, June 25th through Monday, July 6th for rough riding in the second race Wednesday, June 24." DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 24. — The stewards today issued a ruling fining trainer Mike McGee 00 for failing to present the horse, Winning Prince, for his engagement in Tuesdays eighth race. MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 24. — The stawrds this afternoon issued the following ruling: "Jockey James Combest is suspended for 10 days for an unsatisfactory ride on the horse, Rock Span, during the running of the sixth race on June 22, 1953. His suspension runs from June 25 through July C, inclusive."
