. Chamier Wins Irish Derby Through Disqualification CURRAGH COUNTY, Kildare, Ireland, June 24 Reuters. — Mrs. F. L. Vickermans colt, Chamier, ridden by the English -jockey, Billy Rickaby, won the Irish Derby over 12 furlongs here today, after a photo finish and sucess-ful objection. After consulting the photo, the judges announced that Brigadier W. P. Wyatts English colt Premonition, had won by a head from Chamier, with M. F. Molonys Sea Charger, third, a length farther away in the field of 13. The objection lodged against Premonition was sustained and Chamier placed first, Sea Charger second and A. L. Hawkins Clonleason, third. Chamier, by the English St. Leger winner, Chamossaire, and out of Ther-apia, is trained by Vincent OBrien at Casheb, County Tipperary, and was a 5 to 4 favorite, with Premonition, 2 to 1 second choice. Harry Carr rode Premonition, who was trained at Newmarket by Capt. Cecil Boyd-Rochfort.
