Apprehend Thief at Hollywood After Robbing Cashiers Cage HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 24. — Harvey Leroy Karman, 29, was arrested at Hollywood Park yesterday after he was found with ,700 in 00 bills which he admitted taking from a cashiers window. The hero in the apprehension of the suspect was the tracks new robbery alarm system. After the robber broke the glass in the cashier cage and snatched the money, cashier Leonard S. Rustad flipped the silent switch of the system which turned on a red light over the cage and sounded a bell to alert TRPB guards who immediately gave chase. After a brief chase, similar to a Alfred Hitchcock movie ending, Karman was caught and identified by Rustad.
