BNAI BRITH was no match for the winner, but responded well to outfinish the others. SPRING FROLIC was always formidable, but was not good enough. POSTURE moved menacingly on .the final turn and weakened. SWAMPOODLE caught only tired horses, as did ROMAN MARCH. GRANDPAS SUE weakened: JUESBU attained a slight lead briefly from the inside nearing the stretch and quit. FAIR BIT turned in a dull effort. MINSI drifted out while in front and flattened out badly. The latter was badly impeded in the vicinity of the half-mile pole, re-entered contention from the outside, but lacked a late surge. WILFUL was always formidable and closed willingly. SARAH WHEATON weakened slightly after being outrun for the early lead. MISS ULRICH moved boldly from the outside and tired. LORENA H. was never a factor. FIRST PEEP flattened out badly.
