Colorado Notes i "CENTENNIAL RACE TRACK, Littleton, Colo.,.Augl 19. Jerry Casey, popular apprentice rider, injured several weks ago in an afternoon spill, reported to his contract employer, R. J. Hulse, and galloped several head during the morning workouts. Under doctors orders, Jerry will be able to exercise horses, but it will be until the latter part of this meetingf before he can accept riding engagements. Charles lies, number one saddlesmith for the George Adams-J. K. Houssels string, goes altarbound Sunday. On this date, Charlie and Miss Barbara ORourke of Littleton will be married at St. Marys Catholic Church, Littleton. Galard Lane, chief assistantto his father, Spec Lane, in conditioning the "Rorick and Lane string, leaves shortly for Manhattan, Kan. Galard, a sophomore student in pre-vet medicine, will try his hand at football, after spending all summer with his dad on tracks in Omaha, Raton and Denver. Clarence Blackwell, son of L. C. Black-well, owner of the record holder quarter horse, Monita, was killed in an auto mishap in Clayton, N. M., on Monday. The Blackwells had planned on shipping to Centennial the latter part of this week.
