Permit Stock Sale for Promotion LOS ANGELES, Calif., Aug. 19. The office of Edwin M. Daugherty, state commissioner of corporations, announced that permission has been granted the group backing the proposed Palm Springs race track to sell as much as 00,000 worth of stock for promotional purposes. Expiring February 5, 1954, the permit limits the sale to 25 specified persons.
