Eddie On the Spot WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., Aug:. 19. Eddie Arcaro, the nations premier jockey, squirmed a little .today and admitted he will be "on the spot" when he rides Native Dancer in the American Derby here Saturday. "I guess I shouldnt have said so much about The Dancer," said Arcaro, who previously let it be known the gray streak would have to "show him" he was the top horse. "Hes a great horse and all I meant was that he would have to show me before I rated him the greatest," Arcaro said. "Now Im on the spot where I hope he does show me its money out my pocket if he doesnt," the jockey said.
