Noble Try Has Things Own Way in Rockingham Score ROCKINGHAM PARK, Salem, N. H„ June 23.— Noble Try, sporting the splattered colors of M. and I. Prickett, gained a front-running triumph through the slop in the featured Hillsboro Purse today. The Winner had it much his own way through the entire mile route and scored by a convincing nine-length margin over Dover Stables Past Tense, returning .60. Lanark was third, another three and a half lengths to the rear. The victory was the first of the season for the three-year-old son of Noble Creek who had three place finishes in his last three outings. Ronnie Fisher guided Noble Try in steady fashion, completing a consecutive double following his return to action today. -The popular New England apprentice was married over the week end and had a brief "honeymoon in Maine. Fisher took Noble Try to the front at the clubhouse turn, held the ultimate winner at a consistent gait through the back-stretch and increased his lead during the final eighth. Past Tense extended the leader to. the half-mile post, but was unable to present a serious challenge in the stretch. Noble Try circled the muddy oval in 1:38%.
