OFF AT 5:22 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. ARLETOD worked his way up on the outside to gain a forward position entering the stretch, bore in slightly hampering the rider and was along in the final yards to outfinish COHERENCE. The latter raced in close attendance of the pace, responded to stout pressure in the drive and just missed. KENTUCKY HOME assumed command soon after the start, drew clear after a half mile, maintained the lead under stout urging in the drive, but was not good enough. HAL-FLEAM challenged mildly along the inside, but was not good enough. SILLY MINNIE lacked a late rally. MESMER showed a dull effort. TRIPLE F. was caught in close quarters at the first turn and forced to take up and failed to reach serious contention thereafter. Overweight— Kentucky Home, 3 pounds; Silly Minnie, 4. BULL HALSEY raced in close attendance of the pace - for a mile, responded to pressure to assume command and withstood a rally from NO SKIS. The latter moved steadily on the outside to reach a contending position on the final turn, rallied under pressure and was extending the winner. OMEN closed with a belated rush too late to menace. COINCIDENT, a factor from the outset, lacked a late rally. PAYUCANO dominated the pace for a mile and weakened. FOLLY MILLS had no mishap. JUDYS RUNNER flattened out. AQUARIUS showed nothing.
