PSYCHIC DREAM took command at once, entered the stretch with a good lead, but was hard ridden during the drive to withstand TALION. The latter, well placed from the beginning, finished strongly in the middle of the track, but could not overtake the top one, although much the best of the others. FIRST STAR was unable to threaten the leaders when set down through the stretch. BARGAINER was never dangerous and had no, mishap. VICKI DIANA tired after showing early speed. HALRACK, caught in close quarters immediately after the start, raced wide to the stretch, bore to the inside when set down in the drive and was up in the last , strides. TONIGHT, a sharp factor from the start, reached the lead between calls during the drive but was unable to withstand the top one. FREE LUNCH began fast, set the pace to the last eighth, then faltered. GAY HUNTER lacked early foot but finished fast. STAR SHOW tired after showing early speed. BIT 0 WHIZ could not keep up. HI JOE showed nothing. PATIO PATTER could not keep up. PRITTY WATCH, showing sudden improvement over his recent form, moved up boldly approaching the stretch, took command from KASLICK and drew clear when ridden out. The latter, well placed from the start, settled for the drive with a clear advantage, but was unable to stay with PRITTY WATCH. MARK ONIGHT saved ground when outrun to the stretch, finished fairly well] under urging, but could not reach KASLICK. BOLING POLLY failed to rally when set down in the drive. ALACASSULA tired after racing prominently to the stretch. BONA ETERNAL took command at the start, set the pace to the stretch, but had nothing left for the drive.
