Jeffords Pair Work Out . DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 29. Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords two candidates for the 5,000 added Sussex Handicap, Post Card and Subahdar, engaged in extended workouts this morning in preparation for the mile and a quarter fixture here, on Saturday. The two routers were sent a mile and a furlong, with Suba r putting in the most serious trial. The Alsab colt who shoulders 109 pounds, stepped me distance in a handy 1:53, the final furlong of which was :12. Post Card merely breezed the distance and was clocked in 1:57. Post Card carries 113 pounds in the Sussex.
