Sir Mango Pound Over Iceberg II. Eads Runner Gets 124 in Grass Stake Meeting of Pair in Stars And Stripes Will Feature Arlingtons Holiday Sport ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 29. Sir Mango, winner of three stakes at Lincoln Fields, has been assigned top weight of 124 ponds for Mondays holiday running of the 5,000radded Stars and Stripes Handicap over nine furlongs on the turf course. Iceberg XT., champion grass runner of 1953, is pegged a pound under the Eads colorbearer. Harvey C. Fruehaufs The Eagle figures to be a keen contender for all of the grass stakes at the -current meeting. He made a show of a classy field in his first trip to the post here last Friday, when he won the Ranger Purse with, ease over Emerald Hill Stables. Blue Dare and A. H. Warners Loridale. He packed 114 pounds on that occasion and will have 118 pounds to carry in the holiday fixture. Loridale drops nine pounds from his latest race for the Stars and Stripes and is imposted with 111 pounds for his Monday engagement. The son of Rustom Sirdar was a winner of one of his two races at Garden State Park before coming to the Illinois course. Abbe Sting at 1 15 Mrs. J. P. Keezeks Abbe Sting, who was a surprise winner of the Stars and Stripes last year, may attempt to turn the trick again, but the seven-year-old,son of Abbe Pierre has yet to win a race this season. He ran fourth in the Ranger Purse behind The Eagle while carrying ill pounds and he drops two pounds from that impost if his connections decide to send him postward on Monday.
